Toxic Chill in PvE.
Hello Guru's,
Since ive searched a bit for an Toxic Chill build. I always saw that it is used in PvP. Now i wanna know. Is there or can i make an 'workable' build for PvE?
I have Prophecies, Factions, Nightfall & Eye of the North. So i can get all skills. Any1 here maybe has some ideas to put an Toxic Chill build together then if it could work in PvE.
Thanks,
Just.

I guess you could use it as it is with maybe a few changes such as using another hex than augury of death and add "Finish Him" to replace the loss of deep wound and add some damage.
Any reason why you would like to play toxic chill or is it just because you like the skill?

It's possible to construct a build that works that uses it, but it's still shit.
Toxic Chill is pretty much worthless in PvE. The cold damage is heavily weakened by high armour (frequent in PvE, especially in HM) and the poisoned condition is trivial.
If you really want to use it, your best bet is probably just it run a generic MM build with TC as your elite and let teammates provide the hex requirement.
Alternatively you could try and run a TC build, but I doubt it'll be effective or efficient in any way.

It's only workable for normal mode, and is best used as a set up for discord. If you use it with necrosis it's alright, but there are stronger options (even IV is probably a better bet).

Toxic Chill, Animate Bone Horror, Animate Shambling Horror, Dark Bond, Putrid Bile, Blood of the Master, Taste of Pain, Resurrection Signet(or Death Nova)
Blood Magic 9 (8 + 1)
16 (12 + 4)
11 (10 + 1)
I've used this in HM PvE the past couple days and I'll admit, this isnt too fantastic. Still serves a purpose, however.

Like all armor-sensitive damage, cold damage tends towards poo as monster armor increases with monster level. You can't make a good build with Toxic Chill that wouldn't be better with another elite. Sorry.

Toxic Chill can be workable in PvE, but the damage isn't as good as other necro elites.
Necrosis would work better and the condition is very easy to prime.
